Global Village is one of the world's largest multicultural festivals - a six-month season, running seven days a week, with over 2,200 food and beverage outlets operating on a single site.
Castle IT has been the exclusive technology partner for Global Village since 2018, building and maintaining the POS infrastructure that processes transactions across every one of those outlets throughout the season.

Castle IT was founded in Dubai with a straightforward goal: make the technology side of running a food and beverage business simpler. We closed the year with 50 installations across the UAE — small by what came next, but the foundation everything else was built on.
Regional and exclusive
By 2018 we had crossed 500 installations, expanded into Oman and Qatar, and become the official exclusive POS partner for Global Village — powering 350+ outlets across the season. In four years, the business had gone from a UAE startup to a regional operation with a flagship partnership that would define the decade ahead.
Exclusive across the board
We extended our Global Village partnership to cover all outlet types across the event — not just F&B. Simultaneously, our regional footprint grew to over 3,000 active installations across UAE, Oman, and Qatar. The business we'd set out to build was taking clear shape.

We moved to a SaaS-first delivery model in 2024 — faster to deploy, simpler to manage, and continuously improving without disruptive upgrade cycles. Alongside that, our self-service kiosk and interactive experience products came into full focus, giving clients a single partner for every touchpoint where their business meets their customer.
